17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.”

6. How relevant is the Bible to your everyday life? What might make you inclined to read the Bible as a source of truth or guidance in your life?

Isaiah 40:8 says, “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” In other words, this writer seems to think that there is something special about this book—that it will outlast nature. Another passage states unequivocally that the Bible is “God-breathed.” In what ways might the Bible be “offering a better story, a story to help make sense of our crazy human existence”?
