The Importance of Connection
- It provides a spiritual family to support and encourage us in our walk with Christ (Galatians 6:1-2; Hebrews 10:24-25).
- It gives us a place to discover and use our gifts to serve others in ministry (1 Corinthians 12:4-27).
- It places us under the spiritual protection of godly leaders (Hebrews 13:17; Acts 20:28-29).
- It gives us the support and accountability we need to grow (Ephesians 5:21). The Real Church
- The Church is not a building – it’s a group of people who follow Jesus.
- The Church is not an organization – it’s a living, breathing organism empowered by God.
- The Church is not man’s invention – it’s God’s design for His people.
- The Church is not optional – it’s an essential part of every believer’s life.
A biblical church is a community of believers who confess Jesus as Lord, hold to the truth of God’s Word, and are united for worship, spiritual growth, and mission.
