Day 6 – Proverbs 3:5-6

READ

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

REFLECT

Trust makes and breaks relationships. That is why betrayal by friends and family cuts so incredibly deep. Thankfully, our Savior has proven himself trustworthy across the ages. He is unchanging and always faithful. The same today, yesterday, and in 200 days. So, Solomon calls on believers to trust the Lord completely, setting aside our narrow-mindedness for faith in the one who knows all.

RESPOND

I can no longer keep parts of my heart from you, God. I have grown comfortable giving you small portions of my trust, setting aside the people, hurts, history, and dreams I hold closest. Today, I give you it all, Lord, all I have. I desire your guidance above all else. Guide my path, lead me into your will and promises for me. I submit to you. I love you. Amen.
