We are New Life.
One church, many locations.
One family, many backgrounds.
One message, many stories.
But one cross, one gospel, and one God.
Juan and Rosa Sanchez — Pastor
Juan and Rosabel Sanchez have been involved in ministry for the last 12 years. They were Fusion ministry leaders and Elders at Newlife Midway before being launched out in the Spring of 2014 to plant Newlife Garfield-Ridge, where they led services at Kennedy High School. In the Fall of 2016 both the Newlife Garlfield-Ridge and Newlife Cicero church families merged into one new dynamic body of Christ, which Juan and Rosabel now pastor. Both Juan and Rosabel are life-long residents of the City of Chicago and both work as educators for Chicago Public Schools. They have a shared passion to see healthy, vibrant and spiritually equipped individuals and families grow and thrive. Together, they have four children and a beagle named Zoe.
Samuel y Violeta Sotelo — Pastor
Zuleica Zavala — Office Manager
Zuleica Zavala is the Office Manager for New Life Community Church-Cicero, where she runs the day-to-day operations for the church and helps keeps her Pastor on point. She is an active leader in the Fusion Marriage ministry, mentoring couples and leading small groups with her husband of 15 plus years. In addition, Zuleica is the leader of the Raising Arrows Children's Ministry at New Life Cicero. Her passion is to see a generation of youth grow up to serve and love the Lord. This is her life's mission and she inspires her 4 little arrows at home to do the same.
