Meet Our Team
Pastor Juan and Rosa Sanzhez
Juan and Rosabel Sanchez have been involved in ministry for the last 12 years. They were Fusion ministry leaders and Elders at Newlife Midway before being launched out in the Spring of 2014 to plant Newlife Garfield-Ridge, where they led services at Kennedy High School. In the Fall of 2016 both the New Life Garfield Ridge and New Life Cicero church families merged into one new dynamic body of Christ, which Juan and Rosabel now pastor. Both Juan and Rosabel are life-long residents of the City of Chicago and both work as educators for Chicago Public Schools. They have a shared passion to see healthy, vibrant and spiritually equipped individuals and families grow and thrive. Together, they have four children and a beagle named Zoe.
Pastor Samuel y Violeta Sotelo
Pastor Jason and Christy Holt
Jason and Christy Holt served in Philadelphia for the past 17 years and helped establish a church, short-term ministry training center and undergraduate Urban Ministry program. They moved to Chicago in August 2017 because they wanted to join with New Life’s vision for reaching cities. Jason is part of the church planting residency program and is serving as an Assistant Pastor. Through their time in Philadelphia, God gave them a burden for impacting the lives of children and youth and for living in an under-resourced community to bring hope through Christ as a neighbor. They have five children and are so thankful to have a daughter along with their four boys!
