We can do more

At New Life, we are a church family that desires to partner with and serve the families in our community. We recognize that the idea of modern family takes on many different expressions in our communities. Some are single parent families, others are multigenerational families, but all represent homes that want to grow together. With this in mind, through the family ministries at New Life, we want to help kids and teens develop a faith that sticks. We believe that kind of faith is built when the church partners with the home.

PRESCHOOL

We believe that preschool ministry is about so much more more than childcare. This is a phase when we can help embrace the physical needs of babies and preschoolers and help them to know that they are safe, able and loved by Jesus. In this phase, it is so important to incite wonder so they will know God’s love for them and meet the family of God.

Jesus Wants to Be My Forever Friend.

ELEMENTARY

50% of kids walk away from their faith when they move out of their homes because they simply adopted their parents faith. We want to help kids find and follow Jesus so that they have an authentic faith of their own to take with them into their adult years. In this phase, it is so important to provoke discovery so they will trust God’s character and experience the family of God.

I Need to Make the Wise Choice
I Should Treat Others the Way I Want to Be Treated

STUDENTS

We believe in the youth of Chicago! In a world when many look down on the behaviors and actions of teenagers, we believe in the power of God to transform their hearts to impact the world for His glory. The teenage years are vital to lean into and we do this by affirming their personal journey of faith and mobilizing their potential to be all that God is calling them to be.

In this phase it is so important to provoke discovery in them so they will own their faith and value a faith community as well as fuel the passions God gave them so they will keep pursuing an authentic faith and discover their own personal mission.

PARENTS

At New Life, we believe that every parent wants to be a better parent. We also believe in the power of the combined influence of the church and the family; that when we partner together, we can do more together. With that in mind, we have created Parent Life. Designed for all parents, regardless of phase. We seek to cultivate a culture of practical content and conversations to help every parent be a better parent.

Every family has a rhythm, the things we do day-in and day-out that keep us going. And these days, many of us don’t feel like we have the margin to add anything more.

With this in mind, we have partnered with Parent Cue to provide the customized New Life Parent Cue App! We are working hard to create the plan, so you can simply make the memories.

Next Gen Pastor

Pastor Jeff McCauley

Jeff serves as New Life’s All Church NextGen Pastor. He grew up in West Lafayette, Indiana and came to Christ at 15 years old at a Young Life camp. Because of how he met Jesus, he has always had a passion for helping kids and teenagers find and follow Jesus. After pursuing a career in 3D Animation, the Lord led him to the world of public and private school as a teacher and then into ministry. Since then, he's been in full-time church ministry for over 15 years. Jeff is married to his high school sweetheart, Kim, and together they have 4 children; Lilly, Luke, Lucy, and Liam. His favorite dessert is any coffee or coconut flavored ice cream and he is an avid runner and book reader. Oh, and he also has an unhealthy passion for Lego building and movie watching; especially cheesy ‘80s movies.
