Cicero

Juan and Rosabel have been involved in ministry for the last 18 years. They were marriage ministry leaders and Elders at Newlife Midway before being sent out in the Spring of 2014 to plant Newlife Garfield-Ridge which met at Kennedy High School. They have led the Newlife Cicero location since September 2016 where they serve alongside a committed team in helping bring people closer to God.

Both Juan and Rosabel are life-long residents of the City of Chicago and both work professionally as educators for the Chicago Public Schools. They have a shared passion to equip & empower both individuals and families to be change makers. In their lives and communities. Together, they have four- young adult & teenage children, and a Goldendoodle named Burley.

Roger Cortez came to know Jesus at the age of 15. He started serving at New Life since 1998. For almost 20 years, he and his wife Martha have served in many different areas of ministry including worship, small groups, discipleship and KidZone. Roger and Martha have been married for almost 40 years, have two grown children and five grandchildren. Their passion is to mentor and disciple people and guide them through their spiritual walk. They have assisted in planting several New Life locations in Little Village, Montgomery and Berwyn.

Claudia Morales is the Office Manager at New Life Cicero where she oversees the daily operations throughout the office and the church building, she also has a heart for serving and helping wherever needed. She has assisted in the women’s ministry, led the ushers, greeters, welcome table, first impression, and the counting team. She has been married to her husband, Rick of 34 years, together they have five adult children and 11 amazing, wonderful grandchildren that are the core of her heart.
