Leadership Cohort

Overview

New Life’s Leadership Cohort is a 2-year, leadership development program designed to offer hands-on experience, personal mentoring, and coaching to emerging leaders preparing for a lifetime of vocational ministry. Leaders gain experience by serving as part of the team at one of our locations or in one of the ministry departments at New Life. The location or department in which a leader serves is determined based on the applicant’s experience, team chemistry, and desired ministry future. Every leader has an experienced coach who serves as a ministry mentor.

New Life’s Leadership Cohorot is designed with six developmental components that guide everything we do.

Program Info

New applicants are invited to join our program (through an application and interview process) in June, September, or January.

The time commitment for the cohort is approximately 12-16 hours per week. This includes weekly leadership training in a cohort-style learning environment as well as specific ministry responsibilities at one of New Life’s many locations around Chicagoland.

New Life’s Leadership Cohort is a volunteer developmental experience for emerging leaders. There is no cost to participate and no compensation is offered to participants.
