Pastoral Apprenticeship

• Participate in Sunday morning operations
• Meet weekly for coaching with pastor
• Assist in leading one major ministry area
• Participate in all church pastoral meetings & location staff meetings
• Disciple a new member of the congregation
• Preaching & Training leaders
• Coordinate church events
• Travel to network and learn at conferences
• Other responsibilities for more tailored roles based on gifting and passion

• A clear sense of a calling to pastoral ministry

The Pastoral Apprentice will be evaluated periodically throughout the program by the pastor/s. At the conclusion of the apprenticeship program, the Apprentice may be considered for a permanent pastoral position within the church, based on readiness of the Apprentice and available openings.

The apprenticeship in an unpaid commitment. Apprentices shadow the pastoral team throughout a variety of pastoral responsibilities and are given ownership of a variety of projects and ministry roles to gain experience and prepare for a life of ministry.
