Are you coming for the first time?

We know that showing up to a new place for the first time can be intimidating. At New Life Community Church it’s our desire that you feel right at home from the moment you pull into the parking lot! As a first-time guest, you are VIP to us so we'll be there with you every step of the way!

What about my children?

Our Kids Zone is available for children birth through sixth grade at every service. The care and spiritual growth of every child is our highest priority and our passion is to create fun, Bible-driven, interactive lessons especially designed for your kids!

What should I wear?

At New Life Community Church, there's no dress code and no judgement. Some show up in suits or dresses, and others wear t-shirts and jeans. We want you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable!

Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Jessie and Aida Alarcon

Pastor Jessie and Aida have been involved in ministry for nearly 30 years.

Both are very relationship-oriented. Both have a passion for equipping individuals and families with the word of God, a heart to see the lost no longer walking in darkness, and a desire to see men and women find their God-given destiny.

Jessie works full-time in Higher Education and was born in Chicago, Aida was born in Mexico, and raised in LA before arriving to Chicago. Together they have three sons, Jessie II, Julian, and Josiah, and one grandson, Jessie III.

Pastor Franklin & Diana Ponce

Franklin y Diana, ambos originarios de Honduras, se embarcaron en sus viajes a Chicago a edades diferentes: Diana a los siete años y Franklin a los dieciséis. Sus caminos se cruzaron en 2011, lo que llevó a una relación que floreció más de cinco años antes de comprometerse. Su compromiso se profundizó cuando comenzaron asistir a Nueva Vida Melrose Park, donde se casaron en 2017. 

En Nueva Vida, Franklin reconcilió su relación con el Señor y Diana aceptó a Jesús como su Salvador. Desde entonces, Franklin ha completado dos residencias de plantación de iglesias y una residencia pastoral, enriqueciendo aún más su crecimiento espiritual. 

Tanto Franklin como Diana han participado activamente en varios ministerios, incluido el Ministerio de la Escuela Dominical, PowerPoint, Sonido y liderando grupos de vida. Desde 2017, también han guiado apasionadamente a los jóvenes, inspirando a la próxima generación en su fe. 

Como padres de dos hijos pequeños, Franklin y Diana están dedicados a servir a la comunidad de Melrose Park y compartir el mensaje de Jesús.
