Meet Our Team
Pastor Asa and Elizabeth App
Asa App grew up in Mexico where his parents are involved in missions work. He met his wife Elizabeth in high school and both of them went on to receive their degrees from Moody Bible Institute. He is currently Lead Pastor at New Life Portage Park and has served on staff since 1993. Pastor Asa is a dynamic pastor with a lot of experience as a youth pastor, raising one of the strongest youth ministries in Chicago. He and his wife have mentored dozens of couples and young leaders. Asa and Elizabeth live on the Northwest side of Chicago and have four children.
Pastor Javier y Karina Villa
Pastor Javier Villa- ha servido en Nueva Vida desde el 2012. Comenzó una relación con Jesus durante su niñez y ha servido al Señor desde su juventud en distintos ministerios. Su enfoque, al igual que el de su esposa Karina, es mostrar a otros el amor de Dios, capacitarlos y ayudarles a tomar parte en la misión de Dios. Su anhelo y oración al Padre es que cada persona pueda tener una relación ferviente y personal con Jesus y que el poder del Espíritu Santo llene sus vidas.
Traci Fitzmaurice - Children's Ministry Director
Traci oversees our children's ministry at New Life Portage Park. Our Sunday morning Kids Zone is for infants through 6th grade. Our Awana program meets on Wednesday nights at 6:45pm for ages 3 to 6th grade. Traci also has a heart for outreach and organizes several events throughout the year to serve the community and love our neighbors.
